Ernie was born just north of the town of Taos in the community of Des Montes. His career has been focused on the building arts: construction, land use and management, water use and management, and house and condominium inspections.
Thirty Years of Experience
Ernie is an expert in construction, land and water. Adobe, straw bale, log, stick framing and more--Ernie has built and inspected them all.
He will help you understand what you are purchasing.
He's an Integral Part of the Community
Ernie served as Mayordomo of his acequia association (New Mexico's surface water system), farms, raises livestock and horses, is an active member of his church, and plays guitar and sings with the award winning band, Groupo Mezcal.

Ernie Marquez is certified, generally and in specialties, by the prestigious International Associaton of Certified Home Inspectors.
He also is a member of and adheres to the strict standards of the American Society of Home Inspectors.
